Cargo size and weight limits
When transporting goods by car or motorcycle, you must follow size and weight regulations to ensure traffic safety.
Car
Length: total length must not exceed 120% of the vehicle's length.
Width: total width must not exceed 120% of the vehicle's width.
Height: must not exceed 3.8m from the ground.
Overhang: front/rear/sides must not exceed 10% of the vehicle's length/width.
Motorbike
Cargo length: must not extend more than 30cm from the carrier or seat.
Width: each side must not extend more than 15cm, total not exceeding 30cm.
Height: total height must not exceed 2m from the ground.
Maximum weight:
Under 50cc: 30kg
Over 50cc: 60kg
If you need to carry more than the permitted limit, you must obtain a special cargo permit from the traffic police.
